A Houston area man was arrested at the Navasota in this week.
Navasota PD, The Grimes County Sheriff’s Office and the Grimes County District Attorney’s Office conducted surveillance and identified narcotic activity. Officers set up a buy and bust at the Inn around 11 am on Monday. The man arrived and was detained by officers, where they conducted a search of the vehicle.
Authorities found a plethora of drugs. Found was five sealed bags of marijuana weighing in at over 5.7 ounces, more than 2 grams of Adderall, Viagra, then 2,000 milligrams of THC Oil and about $3,400 cash.
The man confessed to possession of the drugs and delivering the narcotics to be re-sold locally.
The man was identified at 61 year old Stephen Blankenship of Sugar Land. He was booked into the Grimes County Jail and charged with two third-degree felonies, stemming from possession of a controlled substance, a state jail felony for possession of marijuana and a class A misdemeanor for possession of Viagra without a prescription.
