A Navasota man has been arrested and accused of breaking into several vehicles and stealing packages in Bryan.
According to authorities, officers were called to the complex late Saturday night after residents heard multiple alarms going off.
Police found a man in the parking lot in possession of stolen items and arrested him. He is identified at 23 year old Bryan Ramirez of Navasota. One witness said they saw Ramirez attempting to break into cars.
A search of Ramirez’s car found several items stolen from vehicles on the lot. They found several packages taken from doorsteps of nearby apartments and another item from a storage closet.
Among the stolen goods was a bottle of whiskey, dolls, baked goods, a sound bar, iPhone, iPod, sunglasses, picnic basket, tool box and two handgun magazines. Police also found marijuana, Xanax and drug paraphernalia.
Ramirez admitted to the crimes and being intoxicated during them. He was booked in the Brazil’s County Jail and charged with burglary of a building, theft of mail and possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia.
His bond is set at $21,680.
