A Navasota man was killed on Monday in an accident outside of town.
The crash happened around 8 pm on Monday night, about one mile east of Navasota on Highway 105, with a Subaru and 18 wheeler traveling eastbound on the highway. Texas DPS Sargent Jimmy Morgan said that the 18 wheeler tried making a U-turn, when the Subaru hit the 18 wheeler’s trailer.
The driver of the Subaru was pronounced dead at the scene. He was identified as 41 year old Don Conlee Jr. of Navasota.
There were two passengers in the 18 wheeler and both were uninjured.
