February 11, 2021 by Andre Perrard

A man who recently received help from Helping Hands of Grimes County in building him a tiny home in Navasota was robbed at his residence.

According to Navasota PD, that happened on January 29th, at the current home of Blanche Steward on Abraham Street. Around midnight, Steward says that two individuals entered the residence, and took $100 from him.

He had recently received a tiny home from Helping Hands of Grimes County, to replace the structure he was living in previously, which had no water, electricity, or plumbing. Steward is also legally blind.

Persons of interest have been identified my Navasota PD, but no arrests have been made yet, as their investigation continues.
