MASH is Back

February 16, 2015 by Willy1550

Hawkeye, Pierce and Trapper John; Major Frank Burns and Hotlips Houlihan; Colonel Blake, Father Mulcahey and Radar. The same characters that entertained America for years on both the big and little screen are coming to Navasota’s Sunny Furman this Thursday for a three week run.

The Alliances Earleen Rainy tells Navasota News the creator of the iconic mash, Richard Hooker, wrote from his experiences as a member of a Mobile Army Surgical Hospital unit during the Korean War.

Rainy says, the show’s observations on relationships between people thrown together in incredibly bad situations, still resonate today.

And with it’s massive 31 member cast, she continues, you can see who’s playing your favorite characters and how they come out, beginning on opening night at 7:30 Thursday evening February 19th.

For more information about the play or tickets, call 936-825-31-95 or you can buy them online at navasotatheatre.com
