July 26, 2021 by Andre Perrard

Two men have been indicted for a deadly shooting, which killed a Navasota man.

Records show 18 year old’s Trevon Stewart of a College Station and Amarion Cooper of Lexington are indicted in Brazos County on charges of aggravated robbery and drug possession.

The shooting happened May 21st at the HEB on Texas Avenue in College Station. The two met up with Gray to buy marijuana. The three began to fight over a gun, and both Cooper and Gray were shot.

Stewart drove Cooper to the emergency room. Gray died from his injuries. Stewart was arrested the next day, with Cooper caught on June 4th in Lee County.

Cooper also faces a deadly conduct charge for a separate 2020 shooting in Bryan, where bullets hit a car but no one was hurt.
