Navasota High School’s aspiring artists, directors and photographers will be celebrating their imaginative sides this evening at Millers Theater for the Third Annual Film & Photo Art Gallery.
Audio, Visual & Photography Teacher Erica Garcia tells Navasota News the class gives students a chance to explore their creativity and discover something about themselves hitherto unknown. And among them are graduating seniors Maria Salazar and Salomon Corona.
Salazar says when she learned about the final film, project she took it head on and did most of the work on her own, and only took assistance when filming her clips.
Corona was just as eager with his project, and grins, his film centers around dreams and one mans search for a mystery girl.
As for the future Salazar tears up at the thought of graduation but plans on going to Blinn to be a Dental Hygienist, but will be taking some photography classes as well. While Corona is looking to join his older brother at Sam Houston State University and continuing in film.
And you can see both their works among the works of others starting at 6pm (May 24) at Millers Theater.
