More free COVID-19 testing available in Grimes County for next two weeks

January 4, 2021 by Willy1550

More free COVID-19 testing is coming to Grimes County in the next week or so.

The first batch of testing is happening at the Navasota Center starting Tuesday, January 5th, and running through this Thursday, January 7th.

The next round is next week, January 12th through January 14th. That round will be held in Todd Mission at the city hall there.

Testing is available for anyone over the age of five, you do not have to be symptomatic, and drive-thru testing is offered at all the sites. Results should come in 2-3 days and the test is a cheek swab. They ask that you do not eat, drink, or smoke in the 20 minutes before being tested.

You must make an appointment, and can only do so 24 hours in advance, by visiting texas.curativeinc.com.
