30 new COVID-19 cases in the Grimes County weekly update have pushed the total to 450 since the beginning of the pandemic.
According to the release on Tuesday, active cases spiked a bit from last week, jumping from 164 to 222, with 66 of those active cases in Navasota.
More news in the recovery sector this time, as the county sits now at 311 recoveries, with 147 of them in Navasota. That is up 56 total from last week. No deaths were stated in the release.
In all, the county has performed 4,672 tests.
Still no Texas Department of Criminal Justice update, but their dashboard numbers have stayed relatively unchanged. At the Pack Unit, there are 20 active cases, down 14 from last week. 3 of those are offenders, and 17 of them employees. At the Luther Unit, there are 16 active cases, up one from last week, with 6 of them being offenders and 10 of them being employees.
