The person killed in the fatal motorcycle versus 18 wheeler crash in town this weekend has been identified.
Navasoa Police say the driver of the motorcycle was 31 year old Isaac Barrera of Navasota, who was pronounced deceased upon arrival of emergency crews.
The DPS report says an 18 wheeler was stationary on FM 379, waiting to turn onto Grace Street. That is when Barrera’s motorcycle struck the back of the truck, and left the roadway.
Two people in the 18 wheeler were not injured.
An investigation is still ongoing, with an autopsy being performed.
