National School Board Association Marvel’s Local Instructor

March 16, 2015 by Willy1550

Navasota is once again in the national spotlight, after one of only 20 educators in the entire nation to be spotlighted to watch by the national school board association, turns out to be on the staff of the Navasota intermediate school.

Principle Todd Nesloney tells Navasota News, Aaron Marvel took one of the coveted spots, as he helps Intermediate’s teachers come up with creative strategies for classroom management and instruction, all the while working on his PhD in child psychology.

Nesloney, who was, himself a recipient of this award prior to being named principal, says people in education are often overlooked but, this honor gives the school a chance to shine by sending one of it’s finest to show the country what is going on in Navasota.

We at Navasota News wish to join the school in celebrating Marvel’s latest success, wish him the best of luck on his trip, and will let you know how it went when he gets back.
