Among the agenda items at Wednesday’s Grimes County Commissioners’ Court meeting was to review, approve and declare Tuesday, September 17, 2024, as “National Voter Registration Day” in Grimes County.
Grimes County Elections Administrator, Rachel Walker presented details to the court about plans for activities around the county.
Walker also gave details about a free family fun night happening on the steps of the Historical Courthouse in Anderson from 5-7 p.m. that evening.
The Court unanimously approved the declaration.
