The City of Navasota conducted a special meeting of Council on March 6th to formally make a decision on the hiring of sole finalist Theo Melancon for City Manager, after they took “no action” at the February 24th meeting regarding that agenda item.
At the beginning of the meeting, Mayor Bert Miller made this announcement.
After City Council reconvened from an executive session, Councilman Kenneth Stevens made a motion regarding the process of finding a new City Manager.
The motion was seconded and unanimously approved by council.
