At the last regular meeting of Navasota City Council, City Manager Jason Weeks shared some of the takeaways from his recent trip to The Texas City Managers Association Conference, which included being more involved in the community as a whole, meeting regularly with Council on a one-on-one basis, and hands-on experiences within the various departments at the city.
Weeks also explained that with the upcoming budget, he wants to be able to present Council with information about the challenges and needs within the various departments.
