Navasota Educator gets Teacher of the Year Award

October 9, 2014 by Willy1550

One Navasota educator has just been honored by the Academy of Education Arts and Sciences International. Intermediate Principal Todd Nesloney just returned from our nation’s capitol, where he received the coveted Bammy award.

Nesloney tells Navasota News, it was a very surreal experience, walking down red carpets and in the end winning an award. He says, all the work he does is represented by the hard working students, the adults he surrounds himself with and other teachers striving to get kids where they need to be. And its because of those people, Nesloney continues, that he is able to grow. And for them, he says, “I absolutely love this community and this school. And these kids are just incredible.”

And all of us here at Navasota News would also like to congratulate Nesloney and Navasota Intermediate in both his, and its continued success.
