Navasota HS Students Get 2nd Chance

June 3, 2015 by Willy1550

Navasota High School students in need of a second chance on their End-of-Course-Exams can get some extra tutoring starting this week, thanks to the school’s boot camp program.

Associate Principal Christy Ramsey tells Navasota News those exams, and subsequent boot camps, are for English 1 and 2, biology, algebra 1 and US history.

While this is not summer school, Ramsey says students can receive tailored help from teachers to review for the tests.

The boot camps are completely free and, she continues, the first round begins today (Wednesday June 3rd) for English 1 and 2. While biology, algebra 1 and US history camps start in two weeks on Wednesday, the 17th.

There is no sign up, Ramsey stresses. All your kids need do is show up. The camps run from 8 to noon Mondays through Thursdays. For details, call the school at 936-825-4250.
