The Navasota school district and police are investigating a false threat that was made online Tuesday night.
According to a Navasota I-S-D Facebook post, the student in question did not make any threat towards the junior high school or students. N-I-S-D’s post stated the threat was “misinformation that has been fabricated by rumor.” Superintendent Dr. Stu Musik said that the student in question who began the rumors has retracted their allegation of another student making a threat toward the school.
Administrators also used the post to thank all students, parents, and community members who brought this concern to their attention.
