According to a post on the Navasota ISD Facebook page,
Beginning this week, Navasota ISD will add minutes to the beginning of the school day to make up for the days in January school was closed for inclement weather.
The following campuses will be affected:
Navasota Junior High — 1 minute earlier
Brule, High Point, and Webb Elementary Campuses — 2 minutes earlier
Navasota High School — 0 minutes adjusted
Bizzell/DAEP — 4 minutes earlier
This adjustment will enable the district to be closed on the designated bad weather days of March 8th and April 1st.
This change WILL NOT affect the times that students may be dropped off before school or the times students are released at the end of the day.
