A man from Navasota was arrested by College Station police Tuesday night.
According to the arrest report, College Station PD were called on January 20th around 3:30 am to an area near College Main for a stabbing in progress. Once on scene, officers learned there has been two victims, both of which had been using the ATM machine on location.
One victim on the sidewalk was suddenly attacked from behind by a hispanic male with a knife, during which the victim was able to get away following a brief scuffle between them. The victim received non-life threatening lacerations from the knife.
The suspect then turned toward the second victim at the ATM, who readily handed the suspect an undisclosed amount of money to avoid being harmed. The suspect then fled north on College Main, where he was last seen running.
Finally on Tuesday night, after three days on the run, College Station Special Investigations Unit tracked down the suspect and arrested him in Navasota.
The suspect was identified as 19 year old Kevin Alejandro Ramos of Navasota. He was charged with aggravated assault and aggravated robbery. CSPD encourages citizens to remain cognizant around ATM machines and report any suspicious activity.
