Navasota man arrested for second time in 6 months after disorderly conduct incident

December 13, 2021 by Willy1550

Calls for a man being disruptive at a Best Western in College Station lands a Navasota man in jail on a multitude of charges.

Officers responded to a man outside the hotel Friday afternoon, who was being aggressive, yelling at staff, and threatening to “hit and swing” on people. Management stated they were worried as well because he was reaching in his pockets.

The man, 25 year old Brandon Michael Reeves of Navasota, was placed under arrest for Disorderly Conduct. He then admitted t having a small bag of marijuana on his person, then resisted the officers search.

Eventually, officers found the marijuana, and slapped more charges against Reeves. He faces Possession of Marijuana and Resisting Arrest charges in addition to the Disorderly Conduct charge.

Reeves was arrested in April of 2021 as well for similar charges, and threatening to kill someone.

He remains in the Brazos County jail on bonds totaling $8,000.
