A Navasota man was arrested by College Station Police in the Northgate District.
Emilio Murillo-Tovar, Jr., age 22, of Navasota was arrested and booked into the Brazos County jail.
According to the College Station arrest report, on August, 23, 2024, at approximately 12:25 a.m., in the 100 Block of College Main Street, a CSPD officer was alerted by the manager of Famiglia Pizzeria of a disorderly conduct fight that was occurring inside their restaurant.
The officer made his way into the restaurant and located three males yelling at another group. The males were ushered outside as the manager stated they were involved in the fight.
Murillo-Tovar, Jr. was later identified by his name and date of birth as the Defendant, but when asked what had occurred, would not speak to officers. Several officers tried to get his identifying information, but he refused.
The restaurant manager stated that all three males including the Defendant had been fighting, by swinging punches at another group. When he asked them to leave, they began to cuss and yell at him.
It was at that time the officer walked in and observed the males exchanging words and stepped in to keep them from fighting.
At approximately 2:35 a.m., Murillo-Tovar, Jr. was placed under arrest for Disorderly Conduct by fighting.
Upon searching him, incident to arrest, a THC Vape and a bag of cocaine were located on his person.
Once he arrived at the jail, he continued to refuse giving his information, about an hour after his arrest he provided his information and he was found to have a federal warrant for Smuggling of Persons.
He was additionally charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, Fail to Identify Fugitive from Justice, and Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 2.
