A domestic disturbance call for the second time in one night lands a Navasota man in jail on three charges.
That happened near Millican on Frontier Lane late Sunday night, when dispatch received calls from the mans wife that they were fighting. Officers found the man driving around in a 2001 Black Mazda on Barkers Prairie Road, and stopped him.
The driver, 36 year old Jorge Cantu Llanas of Navasota, was struggling to keep balance, and failed field sobriety tests. Inside his vehicle, officers discovered two aluminum cans with alcohol, and about one gram of methamphetamine.
Llanas was arrested, and charged with his 3rd DWI, having been convicted of the crime in August 2010 in Grimes and Travis Counties. He was also charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1, and Driving with an Invalid License with Previous Conviction.
Llanas was released after posting a $15,000 bond.
