A Navasota man was arrested for having a Blood Alcohol level twice the legal limit Sunday morning after officers found his car wrecked in a ditch.
That happened around 3 am on Sunday morning on Texas Avenue in College Station. Officers saw four males standing o the side of the road near the scene, which included the driver, identified as 20 year old Anthony Javier Padron of Navasota.
The other three passengers confirmed Padron to be the driver.
Padron failed field sobriety tests, stating he was about a level of “4” on the drunk scale. He was asked if he should be driving, to which he replied, t”the Vanilla Crown and Coke was too much.”
He was arrested, and charged with Driving While Intoxicated with a BAC greater than 0.15. The arrest report states Padron blew into the breathalyzer twice, and his BAC read 0.178, and 0.195.
He was released after posting a $4,000 bond.
