Navasota man faces assault charges when argument leads to injury of sister and elderly grandmother

An argunment over a phone charger lands a Navasota man in jail after he allegedly assaulted his sister and grandmother.

The Brazos County Sheriff’s Office responded around 9 am Monday to the 2500 block of Weesaw Lane in Millican.

Officers met with the man’s sister, who is missing part of her right arm, and were told he had struck her on the arm, back, and knee with open hand. She also told officers she saw him strike his 94 year old grandmother behind her left knee.

21 year old Nathan Carlton of Navasota faces two counts of Assault Causes Bodily Injury to an Elderly or Disabled Person, and remains in jail on bonds totaling $16,000.
