A Navasota man is in jail after admitting to firing a gun into an apartment while the residents were sleeping.
The incident happened at an apartment complex in March, according to College Station police, where 3 adults were present.
Shots were fired around 6 am. No one was injured in the gunfire.
24 year old Claytarrius Collins of Navasota admitted to firing the shots because people inside weren’t answering his calls.
He said he also tossed the gun out of the car, and it was never found.
Collings faces charged of Deadly Conduct by Discharge of a Firearm, and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon. He was previously arrested in February for stealing catalytic converters, and faces those felony theft charges. He also had a warrant out of Grimes County for Evading Arrest
He was booked Saturday, and released Sunday after posting bonds totaling $166,000
