A Navasota man with a felony warrant out for his arrest is in he Brazos County jail again, now facing Debit Card Fraud charges.
College Station Police say that a report was filed February 10th, where a man said his wife’s credit card was stolen during a burglary of their home. Video showed a car pull ito their driveway, then leave a short time later, after unidentified occupants entered the home.
Later that day, the card was used at a gas station, then Lowe’s. In total, the charges equaled out to just under $200, spending $64 on gas, and then spending $127 at Lowe’s on a power tool and battery.
Video surveillance confirmed the men as those seen at the home. A Navasota Police officer later confirmed the identity of the suspect as 30 year old Paul Reyna IV of Navasota.
Officers learned Reyna was already jailed on September 7th on unrelated charges, and questioned him. Reyna told police he got the card from a friend.
Reyna, who had a bench warrant out on felony charges of Abandonment or Endangerment of a Child, also had two warrants out of Grimes County, one for firearm possession and one for drugs. He also faces two other warrants in Washington County and Burleson County for burglary.
He faces a new charge of Debit/Credit Card Abuse, and is currently being held without bond.
