According to a press release from the City of Navasota, “The suspect involved in the February 27th armed threat incident in an MHMR van has been identified as a 55-year-old man from Hearne.
At the scene, the man was detained by officers and transported to Navasota St. Joseph Hospital for evaluation and treatment of minor injuries. Medical personnel later requested that he be transferred to a Houston hospital for further treatment of possible facial injuries caused by debris inside the van.
While at the Houston hospital, Houston Police identified the man as having an active warrant for Terroristic Threat out of Robertson County, TX. Upon his release from the hospital, he was taken into custody by Houston Police and booked into the Harris County Jail.
The Navasota Police Department has since filed additional arrest warrants against the man for Terroristic Threat, Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle, and Criminal Mischief.”
