The Navasota Rattler football summer camp is coming up for all 4th through 9th graders. New head coach and athletic director Casey Dacus says this will be a good time to finally get everyone, both players and coaches, on the same page. Because this is the first time they will all finally be together on one field.
Of course, learning the fundamentals will be a main theme of the camp.From passing, to catching, kicking, punting and blocking. But, Dacus says he hopes to impart a bigger lesson on the next generation of Rattlers – team work.
Dacus says they expect big numbers for the camp and that he, and the rest of his staff, are anxious to get the wheels off the ground.
Cost of attendance will be $50 per child and a $75 maximum per family. Camp begins July 30th and ends August 2nd. For more information, contact Casey Dacus at (936)825-4298.
