Navasota Rattler’s Renaissance Man

December 16, 2015 by Willy1550

The Rattler Football Season may be over, but for one Defensive Tackle Christion “Cheeseburger” Jones, the show’s not over until he’s done singing.

During a recent holiday performance in Navasota City Hall, Navasota News caught up with Jones to see how his football and choir mix.

Cheeseburger says sometimes pairing the two is difficult, in football he needs to be aggressive. But in choir he needs to be sweeter than on the field. But in the end it’s about winning.

And win he has. Jones reported recently taking second in district finals, then first in area competition. And he is continuing working and singing his way up the ladder to State.

Looking to his future, the Senior Rattler doesn’t know yet which direction his life will take after graduation, but he has faith in the one who does.

We at Navasota News congratulate Renaissance Rattler Cheeseburger Jones on his recent accomplishments and wish him continued success in his final year of high school and in wherever his next step in life will take him.
