Navasota police have arrested a teen connected to the Christmas Eve shooting in the city.
Authorities say just before 8 pm on Christmas Eve, they responded to shots fired in the 800 block of Dorris Street in Navasota.
Upon arrival, authorities found two victims. One was shot in the hand and the other had a bullet graze their stomach. Both were transported to the hospital in stable condition.
Navasota PD arrested 17 year old Donquarius Jessie of Navasota on Thursday in connection with the shooting.
He was booked into the Grimes County Jail and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and engaging in organized criminal activity.
