A local playwright from Brenham is utilizing the Navasota Theatre Alliance for the world premier of her newest play: The Supper Club.
Speaking at last weeks city council meeting, Theatre Alliance member and Mayor Pro-Tem Grant Holt says the debut of Claire Broun Johnson’s work ran last weekend, but you can catch is the next two weekends.
“The director has brought in a bunch of professional, actual actors from Houston to come in. They will actually increase out Hot Funds, I know for one of the deals, they have rented out the P.A. Smith Hotel…from what I understand, it is really, really good,” said Holt.
They will be having a Friday night show, and Saturday matinee this weekend, September 23-24. The final weekend, September 30th-October 2nd, there will be shows Friday, with matinee’s taking place both Saturday and Sunday.
