Navasota Wants Residents Opinions

October 10, 2016 by Willy1550

The City of Navasota wants to consult with its boss, (which, if you live here, would be you) on its budget and how it should pay for infrastructure needs. So it’s holding Two Town Hall Meetings; the first one’s tomorrow October 11th.

Assistant City Manager Shawn Myatt says that while residents understand the function of the city, when it comes to making decisions, the costs can be surprisingly expensive.

When the City is thinking about what to do, Myatt tells Navasota News it has to keep an eye on the big picture.

And you can take your own look from 5:30 to 7:30 Tuesday evening in the Navasota VFW Hall or 5:30 to 7:30 the last Tuesday of the month October 25th, at the Navasota Public Library.
