Navasota Woman Accused of Stealing From Goodwill

August 19, 2015 by Willy1550

A 41-year-old Navasota woman remains in the Brazos County Jail on a $13,000 bond at this hour, after being arrested in College Station this last, where she was reportedly seen stealing scores of items from the good will.

College Station PD’s Lieutenant Steve Brock tells Navasota News, Jennifer Yvonne McDaniel was pulled over by officers who later discovered several boxes and bags in her car. Brock says McDaniel then admitted to the officers on-scene that most of it had been taken from the donation drop off.

Following the conclusion of their search of her vehicle, Brock reports officers then arrested McDaniel on three separate, outstanding warrants.

She is currently being charged with both a Class B Misdemeanor for theft, and a state jail felony for possession of a controlled substance.

If she’s convicted of both, McDaniel could be facing up to two and a half years behind bars, and a fine of up to two thousand dollars.
