Even through a pandemic filled 2020, the best from the last year in Grimes County were recognized for their efforts during last weeks Navasota Grimes County Chamber of Commerce Awards Banquet.
Awards for Chamber Member of the year to Citizen of the Year were given out to folks from our area.
The Community Service Award went to Helping Hands of Grimes County, after their work i building a couple of homes for people in need last year. Employee of the Year was named as Jacolby Stokes from Sterling Auto in Navasota.
Chamber Ambassador of the Year was Patty Whitney from Brewer, Eyeington, Patout & Co..
The Navasota Examiner was named the Chamber Member of the Year, and Navasota’s own councilman Josh Fultz was awarded the title of Citizen of the Year.
The banquet also recognized retiring Chamber of commerce board members. Theresa Clark and outgoing president Kathy Baldobino were both also recognized for their years of service to the board.
