The City of Navasota’s Zoning Board of Adjustments had a meeting on August 2nd. Among the agenda items, was consideration and possible action on appointing a Chairman for the board. Due to changes in appointments, the Chair position was left vacant. It was recommended by staff that a Chairman be appointed until the next renewal term.
A motion was made by Mac Vaughn and seconded by Paul Stankiewicz to appoint current Vice Chairman, Connie Clements as Chairman. The motion was unanimously approved by the board, and an appointment to fill the Vice Chairman position will be made at the next meeting.
