A Navasota woman was jailed this weekend on a drug charge after speeding on Highway 6.
The arrest report from Texas DPS says he stopped the car going southbound on Highway 6 near Grimes County, going 82 miles per hour in a 70 mile per hour zone.
Upon stopping 20 year old Alexia Elise Stringfellow of Navasota, the officer smelled marijuana, and after conducting a probable cause search, found a glass jar with two marijuana blunts, and a clear bag of weed.
Stringfellow was taken to jail on a charge of Possession of Marijuana less than 2 ounces. She was released after posting a $2,000 bond.
