Though Grimes County has had an Ag Extension office for a while, it has been without an agent since early last month. But that all changed last week when a new face walked into the Agency’s Navasota headquarters.
Ag-Agent Eric Zimmerman says he has worked with the extension for more than a decade and his family is no stranger to the Brazos Valley and he received both his bachelor and master degrees from Texas A&M.
And as he adjusts to Grimes’ needs, Zimmerman tells Navasota News, there will hopefully be two more Ag-Agents joining him shortly.
So if you have any agricultural issues on your land or with your animals, remember to give his office a call at 936-873-3907.
We at Navasota News welcome Zimmerman to his new post and wish him the best of luck as he serves the County of Grimes’ producers and land owners.
