According to a press release from the Grimes County Sheriff’s Department, “On October 25, 2024, Julia Chaidez was arrested by the Grimes County Sheriff’s Office for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, a First-Degree Felony.
Chaidez’s bond was initially set at $250,000. Chaidez was later also charged with Murder, a First-Degree Felony when the victim, Adrian Ramirez succumbed to his injuries.
Chaidez’s bond on the Murder charge is $500,000, making Chaidez’s total bond amounts $750,000.
This case involves a domestic disturbance that escalated and is still under investigation.”
