New Facebook group allows citizen’s to “adopt” a 2020 graduate in Grimes County

May 6, 2020 by Willy1550

Anderson-Shiro CISD is making an effort in the community to make Grimes County Seniors of 2020 feel special.

In a Facebook post Tuesday, the district said they have created a new Facebook group, which will allow members of the community to “adopt” a senior, and shower them with some additional love. You can send a letter, card, snack, gift card, or just anything to warm their hearts.

Parents or guardians of seniors throughout the county can post a picture of their senior, their future plans and a “favorite things” form in the Facebook page, called Grimes County 2020 Seniors.

The group allows one post per graduate, and citizen’s are allowed to adopt more than one graduate. You can visit the page here.
