A small group of concerned Navasota Independent School District residents are stepping-up recruitment in preparation for the upcoming school year.
Local lawyer and former Navasota School Board contender Jenifer Fultz tells Navasota News the group is here to help the district fill-in whatever gaps the schools’ have, with volunteers.
Fultz says the district has a need for all sorts of volunteers; from aiding teachers, to monitoring halls. And, she adds, the district doesn’t always get that information out to you, and that is where the new group desires to step in.
There isn’t much call for helping hands as of yet as we are still in the middle of summer, Fultz continues, but the group is looking to build a large pool of dedicated residents now, ready and willing to put time in, and make Navasota’s schools a better place.
