A new K9 unit has been trained and introduced into the rotation at the Grimes County Sheriff’s Office.

Sheriff Don Sowell announced on Sunday that Deputy Zachary Pavlock and new K9 Hank have completed their two week training in Midlothian, and will begin duties with the office.

Hank is a narcotics and tracking dog.

Training for Hank was paid for thanks to donations from Grimes County Crimestoppers, and other donors.

Sheriff Sowell congratulated the duo, and wished them well in their new adventure together.
