The City of Navasota is nearing the end of their search for the next city manager.
“I move to authorize the Mayor to negotiate a contract with the candidate that was discussed during executive session, and report back to council in executive session,” said councilman Josh Fultz during the second of two special meetings held by city council this week, in which they interviewed the three finalists.
Mayor Bert Miller says the announcement should come in the next few days.
“There will be a special meeting set for Monday, December 6th,” said Miller.
That meeting Monday is scheduled for 10 am in the city council chambers.
