Anderson Shiro CISD has announced the newest principal for the high school.
The district said in a Facebook post that they have tabbed Dr. Matt Caffey will join the ASCISD family this summer as the Jr/Sr High principal.
Dr. Caffey will replace Dwayne Ross, who is retiring this May after 3 years as principal. His hiring was approved at the April 11th school board meeting.
Caffey has been the principal at Olney ISD for the last 6 years, serving in other administrative capacities in Athens ISD and College Station ISD. He is a former English Language Arts teacher, who has earned degrees from Texas A&M, Stephen F. Austin, and Texas Tech.
His wife, Lani Caffey, will also be joining the move as an educator, along with their two children.
