Look for some major staffing changes among those who bear the responsible for educating Navasota’s youngsters next year, with announcements from the Navasota Independent School District of new principals at both High Point Elementary and Navasota Junior High.
High Point’s outgoing Principal says she’ll be replaced by her current Vice-Principal, Kimberly Meschke.
Lea Rustle tells Navasota News Meschke will be taking the reigns next year as she and her husband move up to northern Texas, to further both of their careers in academia.
In her time with here, rustle reminiscences, she has consistently upped the bar every year, adding she will miss all of her friends and co-workers when she leaves.
Over at Navasota Junior High, the board tapped the school’s current Assistant Principal, Melody Hudspeth, as the new top-administrator. District officials report that, besides being an ordained minister, Huspeth has a quarter-century of educational experience under her belt, nearly the last decade of which has been with the NISD.
