As we start the year 2023, the city of Navasota continues it’s exponential growth.
City Marketing and Communication Coordinator Bobbie Ullrich spoke in studio recently about the new housing popping up in town.
“Phase 4 of Pecan Lakes is currently underway, which will bring an additional 200 homes out there. In addition, Pecan Grove is also expected to begin construction this year, which will add to Pecan Lakes, providing 200-plus homes to that area,” said Ullrich. “We also have the Hidden Hill Subdivision in progress right now, which will bring in 105 new homes when completed.”
Ullrich says, too, another big project might be coming down the pike.
“Further out on the horizon…project is in the planning stages still…another proposed development with 400-plus homes. That is expected to grow the East side of Navasota, and that construction is expected to start in the late part of 2023,” Ullrich said.
In her update, she said retail under construction currently includes the new Jack-In-The-Box, a quick serve breakfast restaurant, a convenience store, and the self-storage facility, which was recently approved by Planning and Zoning.
