The Grimes County sheriff’s office has a new patrol deputy.
Sheriff Don Sowell announced on Sunday that newest deputy Cameron Parham completed the 170th basic peace officer academy with TEEX.
Parham’s father pinned his badge as he was sworn in.
Sowell welcomed Parham and wished him luck in his patrol deputy career.
