At the July 5th Regular Meeting of Commissioners’ Court, Grimes County Emergency Management Services Coordinator, David Lily gave a report to consider enacting a burn ban.
There was no action taken by the Court to enact a burn ban at this time. Officials do ask citizens to burn responsibly.
If a burn ban is deemed necessary in the near future, Commissioners will reconvene in a special meeting to enact it.
