As the temperatures start climbing back into the oppressive levels with summertime nearing, the Navasota City Pool is still not ready to go for your cooling needs.
City Manager Jason Weeks gave an update on the issues at Monday’s City Council meeting.
“Piping was supposed to be done Friday. We sent the motors to Brenham, to see if they can rework them, there is no timetable on that. I have been talking with the Navasota Mudcats…I told them as soon as I have more information about a true date, I will let them know,” said Weeks. “But, today, the pool is not operating, and is in the middle of turning everything over, until we can get those pumps going.”
Weeks did not have timeline for opening the pool.
