Get ready for the flair of old, cherry hotrods, the gleam of acres of chrome, and tons of tuck and roll. Because this year’s Navasota Noon Lions Classic Car Show rolls into town a week from Saturday (10/4).
Noon Lion’s Johnnie McNally says, the cars will be on display from 10-3pm. But the festivities will continue well into the afternoon with a live band. Each year this local automotive spectacular grows, he goes on, as it continues to benefit our local boy scouts and so much more.
McNally tells Navasota News they also use event proceeds to build wheelchair ramps, support local sports teams, and donate to Toys for Tots, local hospices and foodbanks.
If you want to participate and not just spectate this year, he continues, registration is just $20 per vehicle and to win any award you must stay until the show is over.
New show regulations this year, McNally adds, make cars from all the way up to 1979 eligible to enter.
The 9th annual Navasota Noon Lions Classic Car Show is a week from Saturday, the first Saturday of October(10/04). Check-in for registration starts at 8am.
