September 28, 2020 by Andre Perrard

A man from North Zulch, who is a business owner in College Station, was arrested following a Brazos County Sheriff’s Office investigation on charges of failing to pay more than $14,000 to another local business.

According to the arrest report, 62 year old Rick Palasota of North Zulch owns a construction company, and is accused of not paying a local trucking company and subcontractors that hauled dirt and gravel last November.

The report says that the investigating deputy revealed 16 civil court judgments against Palasota, and his various companies, totaling nearly $3.5 million.

Palasota was arrested last Wednesday, and was released the same day after posting a $10,000 bond.
